Enjoying God

We may have heard many things about God, but we have to see that the entire BIBLE, from Genesis to Revelation, shows us that GOD is our ENJOYMENT.

The Enjoyment Of The Lord In The Old Testament:

1) The tree of life (Gen. 2:7–9)

2) The meat of the Lamb (Exo. 12:4)

3) The unleavened bread and the bitter herbs (Exo. 12:8)

4) The manna (Exo. 16:14–15)

5) The living water (Exo. 17:6)

6) The good land (Deut. 8:8–9)

7) The Lord is our Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)

8) The green pastures and still waters (Psalm 23:2)

9) The table before us in the presence of our enemies (Psalm 23:5)

10) The dwelling place (Psalm 23:6)

11) The fatness of the Lord’s house and the river of God’s pleasures (Psalm 23:8)

The Enjoyment Of The Lord In The New Testament:

1) The bread on the table (Matthew 15:21–28)

2) The tabernacle (John 1:14)

3) The Lamb (John 1:29)

4) The ladder (John 1:51)

5) The living water (John 4:14, 1 Cor. 10:4)

6) The bread of life (John 6:35)

7) The light (John 8:12)

8) The way, the reality, the life (John 14:6)

9) The door (John 10:9)

10) The Shepherd (John 10:11)

11) The Passover and our unleavened bread (1 Cor. 5:7-8)

12) The manna (1 Cor. 10:3)

13) The Lord’s table (1 Cor. 10:14-22)

14) The milk of the word (Peter 2:2)

15) The tree of life for the overcomers (Rev. 2:7)

16) The hidden manna for the overcomers (Rev. 2:17)

17) The feast (Rev. 3:20)

18) The wedding feast, the feast of the Lord’s marriage (Rev. 19:7-9)

19) The living water flowing and the tree of life (Rev. 22:1-2)

We need to a) have meeting after meeting for many days to see all the

items of God as our enjoyment from Genesis through Revelation.

b) read and study the Bible from the beginning to the end

with this point of view.

c) realize from the Bible how God is our enjoyment.

d) contact God every moment.

[ The more we spoke, the more the Bible was opened to us … until we saw that the entire Bible is about EATING the Lord, DRINKING the Lord, and ENJOYING the Lord.]

GOSPEL

The Lord Jesus we believe is the real God on the universe who became a man. This God-Man Jesus passed through human living, death and resurrection. Today, He is the life-giving Spirit. The Spirit in origin Greek means ‘pneumatic’, which is most convenient way to enter into man and mingle with man. Once the Lord enters into us, He gives life to us.

There is also an organ in us that is used just to receive Lord Jesus as the Spirit, that is our spirit. Our spirit is to contain God, contact God and be one with God. We have to use the right organs to contact everything. We use our ear to hear, our eye to see, but we cannot use other organs to contact God. We can only use our spirit, which is the deepest part of our being to contact God.

Dear friends, the Lord Jesus is Spirit, we also have a spirit. So, we can use our spirit to contact Him by calling upon His name “O Lord Jesus!” How dear and near!

Hallelujah! Tonight I preached gospel to my friends. They need Jesus. Praise Him! They called the name of the Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus!

Acts 2:21

"And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
