Then we waited for the flight which landed at 2135. When we arrived at home, already 2400. However, I enjoyed Chirst throughout the journey. Hallelujah!

Jesus Is Lord

JESUS IS LORD!

Need we say more?
When you say:
"LORD JESUS!"
You’ve said it all!
"The Lord is rich to all who call upon His name."
(Romans 10:12)
OH LORD JESUS!
"And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call upon Your name." (Acts 9:14)
OH LORD JESUS!
"Every tongue should openly confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:11)
OH LORD JESUS!
"Flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (2 Timothy 2:22)
OH LORD JESUS!

Believer of Christ Jesus

We are the believers of Christ Jesus, raised up by Him, Who care for the genuine oneness of the Body of Christ In practicing the church life according to the divine revelation, And are endeavoring to keep the oneness of the Spirit, By continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the apostles, With the view that we all may arrive at the oneness of the faith And of the full knowledge of the Son of God, At a full-grown man, At the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, That all the members of the body may function jointly and fittingly together in the body unto the building up of the body itself in love (Eph. 4:13-16).

Bible

The WORD Of GOD

The Bible is the Word of God. It is God breathed (2 Tim 3:16). Hence, we should not come to the Bible merely for knowledge, but to Christ (John 5:39,40) to experience and enjoy Him.

2. What God has spoken through the centuries has been written down in the Bible. This book is the very embodiment of God, of all that He is and all that He has accomplished. We can read, understand and accept it!

(Chapter 48, Life Messages by Witness Lee, published by LSM, Anaheim)

3. The Bible is the old-time book, the new time book, the all time book!

4. Martin Luther said, “ There is only one book- the Bible, and one Person, Jesus Christ in the world.” He is both the outline and the detail of the Bible.

(p.108, Volume 3, Collected Works of Watchman Nee, LSM, Anaheim)

5. Hudson Taylor when over 70 years of age said to one of his children, “ I have just finished reading the Bible through, today, for the fortieth time in forty years.”

(p.156, Faith¡¦s Venture, Hudson Taylor by Mrs. Howard Taylor, CIM, London)

6. George Muller said, “ I have read the Bible through one hundred times and found something new and inspiring every time.”

7. Around the age of 20, brother Watchman Nee read through the New Testament weekly for about one year. And Watchman Nee said in 1947, “ I have read the New Testament a few hundred times.”

(Chapter 1 of the Resumption of Watchman Nee’s Ministry, Volume 1, published by LSM, Anaheim)

8. On practical hints for reading the Bible Watchman Nee said, “ The Bible must be read daily and consecutively. It is best if the Old and New Testaments are read together. The reading should not be too fast but rather daily and systematically. If possible try to memorize one or two verses each day.”

9. On how to make the best use of the Bible, HY. Pickering said, “ (i) Read it through (ii) Pray it in (iii) Work it out (iv) Note it down (v) Pass it on.”

10. Brother Witness Lee testified his love for the Bible in his book, page 32, The Organic Aspect of God’s salvation, published by LSM, Anaheim:

When I was saved, I began to love the Bible and enjoyed reading the word of God. Whenever I read it, I was enlightened and sensed its incomparable sweetness. At that time I was not yet married. I loved the Bible to such an extent that every night after praying on my knees by my bed, I still would not put the Bible down. Rather, I would take the Bible with me to bed and place it by the pillow. After I read it again for a short while under the lamp, I felt so sweet. When I woke up in the morning, I would quickly reach for the Bible and read it. Of course, as I look back, I admit that was a grace given to me by God. By loving the Bible and longing for the milk in the word, I received the Lord’s feeding and shepherding.

11. One day during the time of his last illness, the doctors wanted to test how well brother Witness Lee’s mental faculties were functioning. They asked brother Lee to write down on a piece of paper the one thing that he loved the most. Without hesitation he wrote down, I love the Lord Jesus. Then he thought about it for a minute, and said, “Let me change it,” and proceeded to write, I love the Bible. To him, the things he loved the most were the Lord Jesus and the Bible, and both were equally precious to him.

(p.101, and p.102, “A God man’s death” published by LSM, Anaheim.)

12. Before reading the Bible, it is good to call on the Lord. Right away, the Written word of the Bible becomes the living word.

(Message 8, the Crystallization-Study of Romans, Witness Lee, published by LSM, Anaheim)

13. In Ephesians 6:17,18 the Apostle Paul said, “ receive… the word of God… by means of all prayer…” Hence, the most important of all, when we come to the Bible, we should pray-read His Word.

Lord’s Day Meeting

Today all the saints gathered at the meeting hall for meeting. I enjoyed the dispensing of the Triune God. I just open my whole being and He would dispense Himself into me. Hallelujah! Lord, I need Your dispensing everyday!

Acts 20:7

"And on the first day of the week, when we gathered together to break bread. Paul conversed with them since he was to go forth on the next day; and he extended his message until midnight."

We gather together on the first day of the week to break bread.

Youth Training

Tonight, I had a wonderful meeting at the church. The hymn really touched me.

Dearest Lord, I come;
This is now my pray,
keep me open to You,
May I always love You.

Lord, I love You more today, so much more than yesterday;
Lord, I need You,
Lord I love You.

Now that the choice is mine,
Lord, I still choose You;
Although the paths be not marked,
I’m still trusting You.

And if the way is hard,
If things don’t go my way,
Keep my heart soft to You,
Keep me open to You.

Dearest Lord, I pray,
Lead me every day;
Don’t let things come between,
Keep my eyes fixed on You.

When many years have gone,
And many things have passed,
I will still be for You,
I will still say to You.

Hallelujah! I give my first love to the Lord. I must exercise my Spirit every moment by calling His name.

Matthew 5:8
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

Bible Lesson

The previous night, I stayed at the meeting hall with a brother. Hallelujah, he said he was happy when he met bothers and sisters. So, we must care for the body.

Today, I went to the meeting hall at 1030 to prepare for the Bible Lesson which started at 1220. Before that, I went to the petrol station to let my car "drink" diesel but I went out empty hand as diesel is out of stock. However later in the evening, it back to normal again.

The Bible Lesson attended by more than 70 students from three schools (St Anthony, Sekolah Bandar and Sekolah Tinggi) including the saints. We sang the hymn "Come into my heart, O Lord Jesus!" Very touching.

1) Come into my heart, O Lord Jesus

Come into my heart, I Pray;

My soul is so troubled and weary

Come into my heart, today.

Chorus

Into my heart, into my heart,

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus

Come in today, come in to stay,

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus

2) Come into my heart, Lord Jesus

I need Thee through life’s dreary way;

The burden of sin is so heavy,

Come into my heart to stay

3) Come into my heart, O Lord Jesus,

Now cleanse and illumine my soul;

Fill me with Thy wonderful spirit,

Come in and take full control

Do You Have God with You?

Matt 1:23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel" (which is translated, God with us).

Rom 9:5 Whose are the fathers, and out of whom, as regards what is according to flesh, is the Christ, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words of Ministry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The last part of Matthew 1…deals with the names of Jesus and Emmanuel….Now we come to the second name, Emmanuel….Whenever you have some experience of Jesus, you will be able to say that He is God with you….Jesus is nothing less than God Himself. He is not only the Son of God, but also God Himself. Some good writers have said that apart from Jesus we can never find God. God is with Jesus, and God is Jesus. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was not only with God, but the Word was God (John 1:1). This Word became flesh and was called Jesus. When we experience Jesus, He is Emmanuel, God with us. We have heard that Jesus is our comfort, our rest, our peace, and our life. Jesus is so much to us. If we would experience Him, we would immediately say, "This is God! This is not God far away from me, or God in the heavens, but God with me." Whenever we experience Jesus in a certain way, we realize that Jesus is God with us. Jesus is our salvation. After we experience this salvation, we say, "This is God with us to be our salvation." Jesus is our patience. But when we experience Him as our patience, we say, "This patience is God with me." Jesus is the way and the truth, but when we experience Him as the way and the truth we say, "This way and this truth are just God with me." Hallelujah, Jesus is God with us! In our experience, He is Emmanuel.

The Secret of Calling Upon the Name of the Lord

Rom 10:13 For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
1 Cor 1:2 To the church of God which is in Corinth,…with all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, who is theirs and ours.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words of Ministry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The name of Jesus is for us to call upon. I was a Christian for at least thirty-five years before I found the secret of calling on the name of Jesus. I thought that calling on the name of Jesus was the same as praying. Eventually, from the record of the Bible, I discovered that praying is one thing and calling is another. Fifteen years ago, I did a reat deal of praying, mostly on my knees. I did not know the secret of calling upon the name of Jesus, nor did I know that calling is
different from praying.
Many of us have experienced praying, but with little inspiration. However, when we call on Jesus for five minutes, we are inspired. Try it! Many of us can testify that when we prayed in the old way, we sometimes prayed ourselves to sleep.
But calling on the Lord never puts us to sleep. On the contrary, it stirs us up.
Acts 9:14 says that Paul, when he was Saul of Tarsus, tried to damage all the saints. He intended to go from Jerusalem to Damascus to bind all those who called on the name of Jesus. This verse does not say that he was about to bind
all those who prayed to Jesus, but all those who called on Jesus. By
this one verse we can see that the early Christians were those who called on Jesus. Whenever they prayed, they called. They called upon the name of Jesus, and that became a mark of recognition.
A Tiring Day
Today got many activities, starting from 0700, I had morning revival with saints. We have to be seperate. Then I study the "Wasiat Baru" (Bahasa Malaysia Bible) with my serving one. At noon, I went to the meeting hall to have afternoon revival with the brothers.
From 1530 to 1630, I had another study on Wasiat Baru with saints. After that, I went to the meeting hall again for Pray Meeting which started at 1700 to 1800.(Yup, the Pray Meeting for youth in Sarikei is at 1700 every Tuesday.)
Not enough with that, at 1930, I went to the meeting hall again for fellowship among the serving one. Our burden is this coming Friday Bible Lesson(22/4/05). Hallelujah! There were more than 70 saints including the gospel friends. May the Lord gains us all to see Him.
1 Timothy 2:4
"God who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth."
God desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
Enjoying God
We may have heard many things about God, but we have to see that the entire BIBLE, from Genesis to Revelation, shows us that GOD is our ENJOYMENT.
The Enjoyment Of The Lord In The Old Testament:
1) The tree of life (Gen. 2:7–9)
2) The meat of the Lamb (Exo. 12:4)
3) The unleavened bread and the bitter herbs (Exo. 12:8)
4) The manna (Exo. 16:14–15)
5) The living water (Exo. 17:6)
6) The good land (Deut. 8:8–9)
7) The Lord is our Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)
8) The green pastures and still waters (Psalm 23:2)
9) The table before us in the presence of our enemies (Psalm 23:5)
10) The dwelling place (Psalm 23:6)
11) The fatness of the Lord’s house and the river of God’s pleasures (Psalm 23:8)
The Enjoyment Of The Lord In The New Testament:
1) The bread on the table (Matthew 15:21–28)
2) The tabernacle (John 1:14)
3) The Lamb (John 1:29)
4) The ladder (John 1:51)
11) The Passover and our unleavened bread (1 Cor. 5:7-8)
12) The manna (1 Cor. 10:3)
13) The Lord’s table (1 Cor. 10:14-22)
14) The milk of the word (Peter 2:2)
15) The tree of life for the overcomers (Rev. 2:7)
16) The hidden manna for the overcomers (Rev. 2:17)
17) The feast (Rev. 3:20)
18) The wedding feast, the feast of the Lord’s marriage (Rev. 19:7-9)
19) The living water flowing and the tree of life (Rev. 22:1-2)
We need to a) have meeting after meeting for many days to see all the
items of God as our enjoyment from Genesis through Revelation.
b) read and study the Bible from the beginning to the end
with this point of view.
c) realize from the Bible how God is our enjoyment.
d) contact God every moment.
[ The more we spoke, the more the Bible was opened to us … until we saw that the entire Bible is about EATING the Lord, DRINKING the Lord, and ENJOYING the Lord.]
GOSPEL
The Lord Jesus we believe is the real God on the universe who became a man. This God-Man Jesus passed through human living, death and resurrection. Today, He is the life-giving Spirit. The Spirit in origin Greek means ‘pneumatic’, which is most convenient way to enter into man and mingle with man. Once the Lord enters into us, He gives life to us.
There is also an organ in us that is used just to receive Lord Jesus as the Spirit, that is our spirit. Our spirit is to contain God, contact God and be one with God. We have to use the right organs to contact everything. We use our ear to hear, our eye to see, but we cannot use other organs to contact God. We can only use our spirit, which is the deepest part of our being to contact God.
Dear friends, the Lord Jesus is Spirit, we also have a spirit. So, we can use our spirit to contact Him by calling upon His name “O Lord Jesus!” How dear and near!
Hallelujah! Tonight I preached gospel to my friends. They need Jesus. Praise Him! They called the name of the Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus!
Acts 2:21
"And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Lord’s Day
Today got youth training at the church which started at 0700 and luckily I not late for the training. If not, got "grace". In the training, I was happy when the saints practised "PSRP" to be reconstituted by the words of ministry. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord. We must preach the gospel to all the living organisms.
At 0900, I attended Lord’s Day meeting with other saints. We had been justified by Lord. The proof is the resurrected Christ.
Romans 5:10
"For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to the God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled."
The believers in Christ become God through God’s organic salvation which involves the addition of God into their whole being.
